Financial Support

Financial assistance is available for Care but is often dependent on the type of care that you require. When you contact your Health & Social Care department to help you arrange SDS (Self Directed Support) funding. This support is available to people of all ages.

If you decide that you want to arrange and pay for your own social care support, it is still a good idea to get an assessment of your social care support needs and a financial assessment from your council. This means you’ll get any advice and financial help that you’re entitled to. This is a free to use service and can be arranged via your local council Health & Social Care Partnership
